Will I

Will I be
as of the dust,
and was I created by the one I trust?
Or can I leave my past
and look,
until myself I find?

Will I find,
as life goes on,
the reason why... and what is beyond?
But somewhere here lies
all the truth
that one could ever know.

Will I know
and understand
the eternal purpose of this great plan?
Is happiness life's entirety?
Or
is there more to hold?

Will I hold
the one I love?
For not just here, but up above?
When life's end comes, I know I will see,
that all that I hold,
and know,
and find
shall remain in my heart

forever in me.
